Later edition of the proto-libertarian's thoughts on education.
PROVENANCE: With the illustrated bookplate of Emile Jacques Grumieaux (1897-1954). Born in Belgium, Grumieaux came to America as a child, later studying at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts. A landscape and still life specialist, Grumieaux painted and exhibited throughout the Midwest. ¶ Marginal pencil markings throughout.
CONDITION: Contemporary half brown leather and marbled boards; top edge gilt. ¶ Chipping at the head of the spine, but a strong a copy. Complete as best we can determine, pagination notwithstanding.
